Edtech & User Responsibility

Discussion created by tk1ng on Aug 21, 2019

Over the past couple of years my students and I have gotten involved in a number of cybersecurity competitions.  These experiences have made us all aware of just how urgently short handed this emerging job sector is as well as how important it is to have knowledgeable users with good cyber-hygiene habits on our increasingly critical ICT infrastructure.  Our boards are spending more money inn an increasingly risky digital environment.  Better user expectations would mean more efficient and effective infrastructure.

I'd LOVE to get some Ontario educators together and talk about how we might work digital hygiene and good cyber habits into Ontario's barely existent digital literacy curriculum... and then encourage as many others to engage with this urgent need as I can!

Hope to see you there....
