EQAO is pleased to host a one-day forum at

the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel & Suites
on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. The forum will highlight efforts to

Build Data Literacy in Ontario’s Education Community.

The focus of this year’s forum will be on equity and
the use of data to create a culture of hope in which students receive the
support they need to succeed. The event will feature a number of guest
speakers, including an introduction from EQAO’s Chief Executive Officer, Norah
Marsh, and remarks from Dr. Pamela Toulouse, Associate Professor in the School
of Education at Laurentian University and a member of the Sagamok First Nation.

Breakout sessions will
be led by educators from school boards, schools and EQAO. Their presentations,
stories and discussions surrounding use of data and evidence will be part of
the day’s agenda. These interactive workshops will assist participants in
understanding and using data to inform change.
