Intended Learning Outcomes

At the session, participants will choose between two streams of study:


#1 - The goal of Math Facilitator Study Group is to build understanding of effective facilitation in mathematics education and to investigate noticing & naming to create,

support and sustain improved practice in mathematics



#2 - The goal of Math Facilitator C.A.R. is to refine
  precision in facilitating mathematics professional learning through researching a personalized challenge of practice, and to actively to take part in an inquiry of mathematics teaching, learning & leading.


Suggested Participants

The target audience for these voluntary Regionally-planned
  sessions include System K-12 Math Coaches, Consultants, Coordinators
and Facilitators, etc.

Let’s Talk Math Coaching
  continues to serve as a regionally planned networking event aimed at supporting, connecting and leveraging the expertise and work of our K-12 board math coaches, facilitators and consultants , etc. across the London Region as they implement their respective Board Improvement Plans in Mathematics. This event series is supported by
  representatives from the Thames Valley DSB, St. Clair Catholic DSB, Hamilton  Wentworth Catholic DSB and Waterloo Catholic DSB.
