Intended Learning Outcomes


Each session outcome is informed by participant feedback about their learning needs arising from the preceding session, while considering ministry priorities and relevant developments in educational
research and practice.

At the session, participants will collaboratively:

  • Construct understanding about how to create conditions that support deeper learning and global competency development, enabled and enhanced by technology in the board, school, and classroom; ensuring equity and the whole learner are interwoven in the process
  • Explore models of professional learning that support educators, in their endeavours to facilitate deeper learning and foster students’ global competency development in the board, school, and classroom
  • Consolidate understanding of how to monitor the impact of programs / professional learning inquiries, ensuring equity and the whole learner are interwoven in the process
  • Contribute to knowledge building and mobilization
    around research- and evidence-informed effective innovations in teaching and learning practices that are improving student learning outcomes and changing learning cultures and environments
Connect, collaborate, co-lead, and co-learn within a networked community of peers

After the session, participants

  • Continue to connect,
      collaborate, co-lead and co-learn within a networked community of peers
  • Consider opportunities to
      promote common vision and strengthen alignment and cohesion among related
      activities/strategies, where appropriate
