Intended Learning Outcomes

At the symposium, participants will further their understanding of the six priorities of LSA by listening to experts and practicing reflective discourse in small groups: Leadership Networks/Principals Learning Teams, Professional Learning Communities, Collaborative Inquiry, Knowledge Building/Knowledge Forum, the Renewed Mathematics Strategy and Equity and Well-Being. District teams will have the opportunity to share their promising practices. As well, LSA research will be conducted and results reported by the LSA researcher.

Suggested Participants

LSA District teams which can include:

  • Supervisory Officer with LSA responsibility
  • LSA Coordinator Principal
  • Representation from elementary and secondary principals and Vice Principals
  • School Effectiveness Lead
  • Student Success Lead

This is a two-day symposium – May 1st, 2018 from 3:00-5:00 for LSA System Leaders; May 2nd, 2018 from 8:30-3:30 for LSA district teams.
