Type of Professional Learning
Intended Learning Outcomes
At the session, participants will think about the integration of computational thinking and mathematics teaching and learning in preschool to undergraduate, and teacher education settings. They will also develop a research-based understanding of the interplay between the affordances of computational thinking and mathematics.
After the session, participants will have practice-based understandings of the nature of exemplary tasks, pedagogical models, instructional materials and resources, and assessment practices.
