Intended Learning Outcomes
At the session, superintendents/board leads will review the process and resources that support principal-led collaborative professionalism, with the key focus of the Renewed Math Strategy; review how the effective use of the data collection tool can support the improvement process through the monitoring and analysis of data; appreciate the role of the principal coach; review final results of 2016-17, with the purpose of identifying areas of strength and needs in terms of ongoing professional learning; prepare for the 2017-18 year in terms of RMS/AEAC.
After the session, participants will
superintendents/board leads will use the analysis and understanding of the final results of 2016-17 data, provincially and by own board to plan for next steps in terms of professional learning for principals and PLT members; prepare to implement AEAC/RMS processes and practices for 2017-18.
AEAC/RMS superintendents/board leads and ministry staff involved in implementation and support of RMS/AEAC (one session in mid August)
