Description

Presented by Stephen Miles

Engage students in cutting edge tech and take a step into learning the design process model for teaching! Those teachers exposed to STEM will recognize the model for teaching where we focus on the process of design and build, applicable to all areas of the curriculum (spoiler alert! - no marks for the finished product!). Join me for a session on how 3D Printing can open a world of possibility for your students and staff. Topics we will discuss:

  • What is 3D Printing?
  • In Elementary schools!? Seriously?
  • What do I need to get started?
  • How can I connect it to curriculum? Ideas for design.
  • Why should I get a 3D printer?

To register, visit the main Professional Learning Series page.

Also, join the 3D Printing Group in Share to find resources, discuss this topic and collaborate.
