What do ‘21st Century Competencies’, ‘Makerspaces’, ‘Coding Clubs’ and ‘Metaliteracy’ have in common? Your school library/learning commons. In this presentation, we explore the opportunities and practicalities associated with transforming traditional school libraries into digitally supported centres of innovation and creative learning. Once the move from library to learning commons is initiated, leaders are better positioned to ask “is our digital strategy driving educational system change, or is educational system change driving our digital strategy?"
