    How do I create a student account?

    Visit the Getting Started section on the homepage and read through the steps for "Registering a Student on mPower". You can also watch the mPower Educator Portal Features video (Time = 2:55).

    How can my students easily remember their username and password?

    Younger students often forget their username and passwords. You can print access cards for each of your students that include their username and password. This feature is available using the Manage Students Feature within the mPower Educator Portal (login to access). Watch the mPower Educator Portal Features video for a visual demonstration. (Time = 2:55).

    Where do I find information about student games?

    Please refer to the Educator Guides or visit the Multimedia Resources page for How-To-Videos and PDF's on each game. You can also access the How-To-Videos in the mPower Educator Portal (login to access).on the "Resources" tab.

    How do I access student reports?

    Visit the Getting Started section on the homepage and read through the steps "How to access your students' assessment information".  You can also watch the mPower Educator Portal Features video (Time = 2:55).

    Why is mPower not working on my device?

    To ensure an optimal experience on mPower please check:

    1. Are you using a device supported by mPower? (see system requirements below)
    2. Are you using a browser supported by mPower? (see system requirements below)
    3. Ensure that the following web browser settings are set:
      • JavaScript must be enabled
      • Check for new versions of pages automatically
      • First party cookies must be enabled
    4. Some network settings can also affect the performance of the TVO math website. Where proxy servers are used, they should be set to NOT cache pages from www.TVO.org. Try to clear your cache (see instructions below).
    5. Network firewalls should include "www.TVO.org/mPower" as a trusted site.

    Can I use mPower on a mobile devices?

    We support iPads 4+ with IOS 6+. Safari is the recommended browser on iPad (not Chrome).

    What are mPower's system requirements?

    You will find system requirements HERE and in the mPower Educator Portal (login to access) on the "Resources" tab.

    How do I find what browser version I am using?

    Internet Explorer

    1. Select the Gear icon in the top right corner.
    2. Select "About Internet Explorer"
    3. View the IE Version

    Firefox

    1. Open Firefox window and click on the 3 horizontal lines in the top right corner of the window.
    2. Select "?" icon (Open Help Menu) at the bottom right corner.
    3. Select "About Firefox".
    4. View the Firefox version.

    Google Chrome

    1. Open Google Chrome window and click on the 3 vertical dots in the top right corner of the window.
    2. Click on "help"
    3. Click on "About Google Chrome"
    4. View the Google Chrome version.

    Safari

    1. Select Safari in the Toolbar.
    2. Select "About Safari".
    3. View the Safari version.

    iPad

    1. Open "Settings" in your iPad.
    2. Tap on "General"
    3. Tap on "About"
    4. Look at the iOS version (e.g. 10.2.1)
